We are looking for a few car washers for full or part time shifts. Working individually or in teams of two you will use one of our vehicles to travel around the city cleaning cars. We provide everything you need to clean a car from top to bottom.

Do you want to play a larger role in operating a social enterprise? Do you want to feel that your work directly helps someone else? We are looking for an Operations Coordinator to help in the daily running of our operation.

Reporting to the General Manager, the Operations Coordinator will be responsible for all day to day operations, client interactions and complaints and training and support for a staff of 5-12 youth (aged 18-26) car washers. This is a full time position primarily working Monday to Friday. Some weekend work may be needed. The majority of this position will be office based but the Operations Coordinator will be required to be on site, doing spot checks, training or just lending a hand to clean cars when needed.


Provide leadership and oversight to car washing staff:

  •      -Work collaboratively with GM, other co-coordinators and office admin staff to build a team that maintains a supportive and open environment for youth with various backgrounds while maintaining business needs.
  •      -Help GM with all aspects of on boarding and hiring new staff
  •      -Oversee 10 – 15 youth staff daily and deal with all staff HR needs, escalating to GM as needed
  •      -Check in with staff daily to determine needs, required supports and staff performance
  •      -Set the example of what it means to work at Keeners on site and at all times

Daily operations:

  •      -Scheduling of all cars for fleet contracts and manage schedules at retail sites to ensure efficient staff time usage
  •      -Maintain all daily, weekly and monthly metrics and paper logs to ensure proper reporting
  •      -Responsible for maintaining all supply levels, equipment and vehicles to ensure smooth regular operations
  •      -Weekly scheduling of staff
  •      -Helping out onsite with cleaning of cars or equipment as needed
  •      -With the GM, help to maintain and improve all key systems to improve efficiencies

Customer interaction/Client relationships:

  •      -Be the first point of contact for all new business requests and inquiries to our services
  •      -Book clients looking for service through our online system as needed
  •      -Maintain positive relationships with existing site managers and contracts
  •      -Maintain clear and open communications with staff and site contacts in case of service disruptions or site related issues
  •      -Maintain and execute marketing and social media campaigns to continue to build our client base

Training and support:

  •      -Help build relationships and contacts to provide supports to staff as needed
  •      -Provide training on site for new staff in concert with senior car wash staff to ensure efficient on boarding without impact to service quality
  •      -Work with staff in a collaborative and supportive manner to ensure all staff feel included and heard
  •      -Maintain confidentiality at all times with staff related support issues

Work Experience:

  • *2+ year’s supervisory experience in a team setting
  • *Experience gained from working in the car wash industry would be an asset
  • *Knowledge of or experience operating or working in a social enterprise or triple bottom line organization preferred


  • *High school diploma preferred

Professional Certification, License or registration requirements:

  • *Class 5 drivers license
  • *Able to drive Manual and Automatic transmission
  • *Access to vehicle
  • *Must pass a Vulnerable Population Criminal Records Check
